Kali loves her home state of Colorado! She attended Colorado State University (where she took her first ASL class) and received a B.S. degree in Human Development & Family Studies, with a minor in English. She later enrolled in Front Range Community College and completed an A.A.S. degree in Interpreter Preparation in 2013, which led her to an internship, a staff position, then a freelance position at PSLI, Inc. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Deaf Overcoming Violence through Empowerment (DOVE), an organization and cause she is deeply passionate about. She loves spending time with family, friends and chihuahuas, enjoying Colorado’s many local breweries, and riding her bike/running.
