About Danja Hirsch
My name is Danja (Pronounced Dan-ya). My pronouns are She, Her, Hers. I am 32 years old, an Iowa native and a Deaf parented interpreter. I graduated from an ITP at Des Moines Area Community College in 2010. I obtained my NIC Certification in Jan 2012 and moved to Austin, Texas later that year. In 2016 I obtained my BEI Advanced and in 2019 I obtained my BEI Master Certification. In addition to 10 years experience as a certified interpreter in a wide array of settings, I have spent 11 years working part time in VRS. I value collaboration and transparency and I enjoy fast paced settings. I moved to Denver Feb of 2021 and am looking forward to getting to know the ASL community here! In my personal time I am usually enjoying time with loved ones, a quiet night at home snuggling with my cat and disconnecting from my phone. I enjoy working out, reading, traveling, my morning coffee, time spent outdoors and supporting locally owned businesses.
