About Diana O’Toole
Diana is Colorado native whose career started on the east coast after graduating from an Interpreter Preparation Program near Boston. She spent 5 1/2 years working in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area garnering valuable experience interpreting at federal government agencies as well as a variety of universities, including Gallaudet University. When Diana moved home to Colorado, in 2002, PSLI contacted her to train as a video relay interpreter, a setting she loves to this day. She enjoys the Deaf community, and her career, so much that her daughter-in-law decided to follow in Diana's footsteps and is a sign language interpreter in Houston. When Diana isn't interpreting she can be found video chatting (in sign language) with her 1-year-old granddaughter, hiking the Colorado Rockies, and traveling to as many foreign countries as she can afford.
